An atmospheric original A4 mixed media linoprint inspired by Whitby Abbey on one of those wonderfully moody Yorkshire days.
This piece combines Daisy’s hand-printed Whitby Abbey linocut with a layered blue-grey sky, textured clouds and hand-finished raindrops, set against soft green grass.
The Abbey lino block was designed and hand carved by Daisy, before each print was individually created and finished by hand in her York studio. Small variations in ink coverage, texture and finish are a natural part of the printmaking process, making every piece slightly unique.
A lovely piece of Whitby wall art for anyone who loves the Yorkshire coast in all its weather.
